EU Batteries Regulation
Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 follows four main threads — carbon footprint, recycled content, due diligence and the battery passport — covering the entire battery lifecycle from raw materials to waste. Chinese exporters must meet reporting and certification duties item by item, according to product category and capacity threshold.
